What an amazing day. Somehow we pulled this off!

The heat was, unbelievable, on ‘Pebble Carpet’, as we held our clinics during the morning, and then, at about 11am T-Fleet, went out to do their races, off of dock 3.

A big huge massive thanks goes to Cal Sailing Club, aka CSC, for supporting us, and Peter Khun, the Treasurer of CSC, who was RC for T Fleet, aboard the famous ‘Sketch Mobile’, a PK invention. (FYI this a de-masted, Laser, with a small outboard, that works wonders rescuing windsurfers. Windsurfer jumps aboard the bows; sail of rig is slipped over boat, between the driver, and rescued windsurfer, whilst the windsurfing board stays in the water, acting as an outrigger. What a great PK invention!

‘Sketch’, can also tow dinghies. As for low tides, it keeps CSC open for all to go sailing.

By the time we had skippers meeting at 12.30, everyone was wilting.

Marley, Christine, and I then left for BYC, to board C-Cup.

We managed to get 5 races off. We hope you all had fun.

I would also like to thank, in no particular order, 44, 283, 882, at the end of the races, when called to the RC boat, that RC needed help. The three ‘musketeers’ then came to the boat, did not ask questions, but helped, as asked. Thank you so very much to the 3 of you.

We are so looking forward to 2009.
